No AI. Just the math.
Your royalties are real money, so every number here comes from formulas you can check yourself.
What we promise
- No AI in the calculations. Every result comes from the formulas KDP publishes on its Help pages and the numbers you type in. Nothing is generated, guessed or predicted by a model. The formulas and sources are on the How we calculate section.
- Your numbers stay in your browser. The calculators run entirely on your device, and the numbers you type are never sent to a server. The only thing that can leave your browser is your email address, if you sign up for updates. "Save in this browser" uses your browser's local storage, and you can clear it any time. How we use a Google Ads tag is explained in Privacy & cookies.
- Author data is never used to train anything. We don't train AI models on your book details, sales numbers or ad data, and we won't sell or hand them to anyone who does.
- No AI-written content about your books. We don't write blurbs, covers, ads or anything else for your books.
If this ever changes
If we ever add a feature that uses AI, it will be optional, clearly labelled, and off by default. We'll update this page with the date of the change before it ships.
Future paid tools
Paid tools we build later, such as an Amazon Ads report analyzer, will follow the same rules: plain analytics on files you choose to upload, and no training on your data.
